久しぶり!

It's been a while, hasn't it?

I find it odd, considering the amount of time I spend doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING on the internet, that I don't blog more often. I enjoy looking back on my life every so often, to see how much (or how little) I've accomplished. I guess there's not much there if I don't write about it, haha... >___>;;

COLLEGE is already here! My schedule is spaced out this quarter, plus there's only three classes (sociology, logic, and a writing course). With so few classes, I find a lot of time on my hands -- especially compared to high school when I would spend half the day stuck at school.

But lots of time doesn't mean I use it efficiently. My horrible habit to procrastinate hasn't shown signs of improvement. When you have incredibly fast internet, A GAZILLION TVB CHANNELS (5), a functional oven, no parents telling you to sleep, a Wii, a DS, a PSP... well, it's the perfect recipe for PROCRASTINATION.

Oh, and my brother recently gave me his old external hard drive. With THREE HUNDRED GIGS OF ANIME ANIME ANIME . (I over emphasized. たぶん.)

Aside from wasting time on the computer and television (which I think I've watched more of in the past few weeks than all my high school years), I also spend a good amount of time waiting in between classes and sitting at the bus stop. But that's only on school-school days (Tuesdays & Thursdays)... which makes up only two of the seven days in a week. The other five days are spent sleeping, eating, playing games, watching anime/movies/tvb... BOTTOM LINE: I shouldn't have lots of time to waste, but I waste it anyway.

I'm so unproductive, it hurts. D;

ANYHOW, with midterms over last week... well, you can already assume how I did. But it's not too late to improve! I have to kick myself (not the face, please!!) and get moving! OBVIOUSLY, I HAVEN'T STARTED SINCE I'M WASTING MY TIME WRITING THIS... but I must!

I'll write about Halloween in the next post... Keh heh heh~ ;D

SUMMER 2009

Time for a chronological random-picture blog. : )
I probably missed a bunch of stuff though... : (

Lake Merritt >> jogging! We stopped towards the end of summer though...

We went here... a lot. Man, I want froyo nowww D;

I included this... just cause.

Andrew, Chai, and Stephen brought Betty and I fishing/camping!
And, why yes, that is a catfish (on a stick) over the campfire! :)

Betty and I picked some blackberries on our way back to Vivian's house.
These actually came out okay! compared to the stuff we made with it... :DDD

Song's birthday happened one of the days.
Went to D&A (8th St Cafe?!^&*sdjaf;IDK)

I grew soooo many sunflowers this summer!
All of them grew waaaaaay taller than me!
... but squirrels ate everything before it was ready to harvest. ;___;

There was some Canadian geese feeding involved.
... they're pretty scary when you've got food...

I also grew a bunch of lettuce!
We ate it in salad, soup, and spring rolls~

Donaciano's house for a movie-watching thing.

Lots of bicycling around Oakland!

Went to VAMPS CONCERT! OMGNESS!! fjas;klfjsd;fkajsdf
HYDEEEEEEE!!! :DDDDDD
Mucho thanks to Karen for inviting me!

Pizza-making fun!! :D

Spaghetti-making good! :D

パンダパン-making fail!  :DDD  DDD:

Hung out w/ Sean and Raymond in SF
Dinner at Champa afterwards~

IKEA trip to buy pre-college stuff.
And ice cream, of course. :)

Our car trip down to SoCal met a detour when our front left tire died.
We stood around waiting for the tow truck. It was preeeeety hot.
Our signal light died, and a piece of our car flew off!

This Thai restuarant had a very... unique restroom.
As shown by Ida. ---^

We went to SIX FLAGS DISCOVERY KINGDOM *cough* MARINE WORLD
I've been wanting to go back since forever ago! :]
SHOUKA DIDN'T DIE YET :D duuuude, I'm joking O___o;;

I actually never went to Olive Garden before this day!
Sean bought a ton of clothes and then we went to eat there~
The sky was really pretty-colored that day...

The beach after karaoke!
Truth or dare into the night!
EAR NIBBLING GOOD! :3

... all I remember was eating and playing Monopoly.
Like until crazy late. Hahahaha............

The desk (where I'm sitting now) in my room.
Aside from the desk, there's not much in the room...

My breakfast! I wish I could eat something like this everyday...
... oh right, I CAN! BWAHAHAHAHAHA

Fancy Italian restaurant! It costs soooo much more than Olive Garden! D;
It was good though, haha... ;_____;

The skies always look so pretty when I go out to eat Italian...

うみねこ confuses the heck out of me.

We eat a lot of curry. And spring rolls.
And cereal. And sandwiches.
Just wait until I get that spaghetti noodle...

Oh yeah, the weather's really nice down here. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Wow, senior ball is already over!

I'm surprised that I ended up going with someone. I'm even more surprised that I got my hair/makeup done. Mucho thanks to Betty's sister and her friend for helping us with that stuff (I doubt I'd ever be able to do that stuff myself). Also thanks to Sophia helping with fixing my dress and lending me some jewelry. ;___;

Anyhows, we went to chinatown early in the morning to pick up the corsages and stuff. Went back to Sophia's house to do our nails. Walked over to Betty's in the afternoon and got dressed up.

Around 6:30, Sean called me saying something about waiting at Raymond's house. So I started walking over to Raymond's from Betty's house in my dress... which wasn't the best idea, but I only walked half way before Raymond said he'd come pick me up (actually, it was Ryan's dad driving... but yeah.)

Raymond's mom/Ryan's dad took a bunch of pictures while we waited for Sean.

I haven't seen the other ones yet, but I think they're all similar...

(I'm too lazy to sort these out, so I'm just going to put them here)

Senior Ball was at the Great American Music Hall!
It was a bad location, but the place was actually really pretty!

Some people thought it was tiny, but it makes the place feel more full.

If you want to ask how prom went,
... I don't remember anything. >___>;;

ANYHOW, it was very unorganized afterwards.

In the morning, a group of us went to yum cha in our prom clothes.
I was sooooo tired when I got home, hahaha~

FANIME... was alright this year.

We got a ride from Sean's mom to San Jose on Friday morning. While they went to pick up their badges, I checked in and found out where to volunteer. Volunteering saved me a good amount of money this year, but it took a lot of time and energy. And it's not worth your time unless you're volunteering on Thursday or Monday. I'll consider that the next time I go (if I get to go again, that is). D:

I booked our hotel room this year. It's nice getting to room with people you actually know! I mean, last year was okay, but Timmy brought a rice cooker with him! Beats eating McDonalds for every meal, LOL...

And I DID cosplay this year! Betty/I were Morodashi and Marudashi, while Sophia was our Yuko! (from xxxHolic) A bunch of people asked for pictures when we walked around~ we even saw these other people cosplaying the same characters (expect they had the orginal costumes/not yukata).

The masquerade didn't impress me too much this year. Nothing seems to beat that Marvel thinger from last year.

And I was too scared to go to the concert... did you see the picture in the book? I would've died to see the GazettE/Miyavi/Gackt! Actually, I wouldn't care if it were AnCafe again! >___<

<< I was badge-checking at the game room when this Bumblebee (transformers) cosplayer came out of nowhere. The lights + the way he moved -- it was AMAZING! When he took off his helmet a long while later, he wa super-sweaty. Must be tough walking around in that thing, haha. And he made the costume himself... definately one of the best things I saw at Fanime this year. (:

Overall I feel like I missed out on a lot of stuff this year. I saw cosplayers and stuff, but I didn't take too many pictures this year. And when I think back on it, I didn't really do that much. I slept through or volunteered most of the time. It's so depressing! Should've at least gotten my wallscroll signed by that GAINAX dude. T__T
